Hormonal Imbalance

Symptoms such as insomnia, weight gain, fatigue can be signals for some health issues.  If you find yourself have any of such symptoms, check with you physician to have some blood tests done.  Chances are you might develop some mild symptoms for a certain disease.

Sometime, it can just be an imbalance in your hormone.  Hormonal imbalances can be caused by menopause or thyroid disorder.  There are several websites that conduct Hormonal Health assessments.  These assessments can be done online.  Hormone imbalance can lead to several disorders such as loss of short term memory, skin problems, and weight problems (weight gain).  A more severe case of hormonal imbalance can cause Fibromyalgia, arthritis, pain, anxiety, and chronic fatigue syndrome.

Anxiety is caused by adrenal exhaustion, that is when you body is run out of adrenal due to low amount of cortisol in your body.  As a result, your body will send out adrenalin (which is designed for certain life threatening emergencies only) to do the job.  When your body keeps utilizing adrenalin instead of cortisol, you would feel like you have lots of energy at first.  But then, you would experience a drop of energy afterwards.  Under normal circumstance, you would probably eat or drink some food to boast your energy, something like coffee, or soft drink.

When the process repeat itself again and again, eventually, the level of you adrenalin will be reduced gradually until it is all exhausted.  Just as your car runs out of gas, it could not run anymore, and so is your body.  You would feel exhausted and wanted to lie down most of the time.
